A note from the person who does the work

Varinta is one person. You deal with me from the first conversation through handoff.

I graduated from West Point and served as an Army logistics officer. After the Army I spent more than ten years in program management and operations. Most recently I worked in the executive office of an industrial supply company, reporting to the president on purchasing and branch operations.

That job was the problem Varinta exists to fix: purchasing in one system, sales in another, the real numbers in a spreadsheet somebody keeps by hand, and a decision due Monday. I know the vocabulary, and I know which numbers people quietly ignore.

Who maintains this in two years? The output is plain files, you can have the source code, and I answer the phone.

I am in San Diego. Discovery is in person when that helps. The rest works remotely.
